It’s All About You!!!

And for today, don’t meet up with that person who seduces you back into your old ways, the ways you’re trying to leave behind.  Don’t go the place (bar or club or Auntie’s house) that makes you forget how truly cool you are as a human being.   It’s not good for you, these sirens of addiction or poor self-esteem.
Don’t think about tomorrow or next year or the fact that you’d be so sad if you could never have it (or her or him) again.  Just deal with today.   Tell yourself this:  Just for today, I’m going to go without my poison.  Today, I’m advocating for me.
